The sidewalk is just west of the Florida Eastcoast Railway line. The snails live in the sandy buffer between street and sidewalks. Pretty cool, huh?

A long time. I am so glad grass doesn’t grow in that spot. It’s a healthy colony if numbers of them are a good indicator.
