Greetings on this the Wednesday of the Fifteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Readings: Ex 3:1-6, 9-12; Ps 103:1b-2, 3-4, 6-7; Mt 11:25-27
Notes: I watched in horror the young conservatives at Turning Point Action conference with wholehearted support of this disgraced man.
What type of society do you think we will have where our youth are lead to believe that public ethics and Rule of Law are unimportant? We can navigate through bad policy and make it better. It is far harder to change youth who become our leaders that have no actual ethical and moral basis.
You are teaching them:
- Violent attempt to overturn democracy – ok.
- Misuse and appropriation of government property – ok.
- Financial corruption – ok.
- Rule of Law unimportant – ok.
- Childish behavior of the extreme types by the supreme leaders – ok.
THIS IS HOW I KNOW YOUR FAITH IS FALSE.
I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.
From Keydifferences.com:
CHILDLIKE
A person is said to be childlike, when he or she has very good qualities, like that of a child, especially in their behaviour, appearance, thinking or character. When a person is childlike, they possess the following qualities:
- They trust people easily.
- They are innocent, sweet, simple and pure.
- They are quite honest.
- They are full of energy, excitement and enthusiasm.
- They are curious to learn new things.
- Childlike is a positive compliment given to someone possessing virtues typical of a child, even if he/she is an adult.
CHILDISH
The adjective ‘childish’ represents behaving immaturely, foolishly, insensibly or silly like a child. When a person is an adult but acts childishly, it means that they pretend like a child, which they are not. The characteristics of a childish person are discussed as under:
- They have emotional escalations.
- They look for someone to blame when something goes wrong.
- They are impulsive and sometimes stubborn.
- They have a narcissistic behaviour.
- They are attention seekers.
- They use lies to defend themselves.
- Childish behaviour is usually annoying to many people and thus unattractive because if a person is childish, he/she is self-centred and may not be able to understand another person’s perspective and condition.

Acceptance depends upon the Father’s revelation, but this is granted to those who are open to receive it and refused to the arrogant (NABRE Comment, Matt 11:25)
First Reading
But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and lead the children of Israel out of Egypt?” He answered, “I will be with you. Come, now! I will send you to Pharaoh to lead my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
Responsorial
The Lord is kind and merciful.
He pardons all your iniquities, he heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, he crowns you with kindness and compassion.
Gospel Acclamation
Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth; you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.
Gospel
I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.
Peace be with you,
Deacon Gerry

True! Now society is teaching like this 👌
These young people want to be leaders with high regard for Constitutional Law, Ethical Behavior and personal civic commitment. Yet the leaders of the conference bring a man who is NONE OF THESE THINGS. Yikes!
Yes 👍
