Greetings on this the Solemnity of All Saints
Readings: Rv 7:2-4, 9-14; Ps 24:1bc-2, 3-4ab, 5-6; 1 Jn 3:1-3; Mt 5:1-12a
Notes: Plenty of people will steal from you your hope. Don’t let them. Bathe in sacred Scripture. Know He who came to save us.

Yet so we are. Loved children. Loving back He who loved us first.

Saints and Souls – Prayers from and prayers for, respectively.

Blessed are – nine examples Jesus gives in the Beatitudes.
Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure. (1 Jn 3:3).

Living
As for the dead being raised, have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God told him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, [the] God of Isaac, and [the] God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead but of the living. You are greatly misled.” (Mk 12:26-27)
Prayer From Saints – Humans
After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, conversing with him. (Mt 17:1-3).
Prayer From – Angels
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father. (Mt 18:10).
Relics
Once some people were burying a man, when suddenly they saw such a raiding band. So they cast the man into the grave of Elisha, and everyone went off. But when the man came in contact with the bones of Elisha, he came back to life and got to his feet. (2 Kngs 13:21).
Prayers For Souls
Turning to supplication, they prayed that the sinful deed might be fully blotted out. Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be absolved from their sin. (2 Macc 12:42a, 46).

First Reading
“These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.”

Responsorial
Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

Second Reading
Beloved: See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are.

Gospel Acclamation
Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, And I will give you rest, says the Lord.

Gospel
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.
