Word

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him,
and without him nothing came to be.
What came to be through him was life,
and this life was the light of the human race;
the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.
Gospel of Jon 1:1-5

In order for us to experience God, He must transcend the ordinary of our existence. He does so in the Incarnation. Jesus is the word of God. He is the recognizable, the touchable, the seeable reality of the divine love. Jesus is the purpose of God as He relates to us and creation as we know it.

Let us experience all the LORD desires for us in the celebration of the Birth of Jesus.

Merry Christmas!

Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The LORD means nothing more than to share himself with us.

Peace be with you,

Deacon Gerry
