Summary

I was away and didn’t post for four and also for yesterday’s Solemnity of All Saints. May I just add a comment here? The gospel reading for All Saints is the Beatitudes. It is a direct reminder that Saints express in some discernable way — The Way — as described by Jesus in the Beatitudes…. “Blessed are“.

Today we remember All Souls of the faithful departed.

In baptism we begin the journey with Christ. In this life, imperfect, and may be needing purgation in the life to come. But always moving forward. In the gospels, there are at least 9 times Jesus says, “Come to me“.

Reflection

Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me (Jn 6:37).

Personal Reflection

Let us answer, Yes, Lord! I desire to answer you.
Jesus says: Come to me.
We answer: Amen, I come.
