  1. Thank you for sharing Fr Frechette’s anguishing experience from Haiti this Lenten Season. I am far removed from issues facing Latin America, let alone Ukraine, so this provides a glimpse for others like me. These contemporary events demonstrate a tension between Good and Evil, Jesus and Satan in a way that is most uncomfortable. We know teens that have grown up in generational poverty in the USA struggle to work their way out it. The same must be true for these teens in Latin America raised with guns and drugs. Dear St Joseph, be the Father of Wisdom, Faith, Hope and Love for these teens and their communities, as well as the lay and religious who are ministering to them.
