Today I assisted the Sacred Heart Columbiettes deliver the Poinsettias to the VAMC Chapel. After a few one-on-one ministry work with disabled veterans, I did a 12 km training walk on the military reservation. It brought back fond memories when on two occasions while on transfer between duty assignments, I spent time on relaxed military reservations. I remember the peace I felt then and now.
