Greetings on this the First Sunday of Advent

Summary
Slow down! The secular word would like you to celebrate Christmas on Thanksgiving Day and even better on Halloween.
Why?
Elongation of a celebration is good and we do that. From Christmas Eve to the Baptism of the Lord we celebrate Christmas!
Everything in its time.
The season is Advent.
This time of Advent is a time for hope. These great horizons of our Christian vocation, this unity of life built on the presence of God our Father, can and ought to be a daily reality. Personal Reflection
For Advent, I plan to slow down in the preparation of material things and focus on the spiritual preparation to meet My Lord again in the manger. Starting anew our journey together. A favorite is the Joyful mysteries which places the incarnation at the center of the reflection.
