Greetings on this the Tuesday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time

Summary
Faithful Lord, faithful believers is not measured by brick and mortar.
While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, “All that you see here– the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.” (Lk 21:5-6)
Israel and the Jewish people have been restored to the status of family of nations since 14 May 1948. Several series of rise and fall event with periods of peace and war have occurred over the two millennium since the temple destruction in 70 CE. The temporal comes and goes – buildings and stone. The promise of divine care never ends.
To be clear, I do not support the extended offensive campaign in Gaza which long ago lost its character of self-defense and military conflict within internationally recognized attributes. The goal of a Greater Israel is not in keeping with international norms, jewish theology or peaceful resolution. They would be wise to recall the warning of Jeremiah: I will chastise you as you deserve, I cannot let you go unpunished (Jer 46:28c).
Reflection
Remain faithful until death, And I will give you the crown of life (Rev 2:10c).
Personal Reflection
We don’t need to annihilate others to secure our own future.
