My 100th Post Has Arrived!

My 100th post has arrived.

In the first attempts at commentary they were on FaceBook which are lost to me as this is a service I no longer subscribe. I remember telling the story of “Policia!”. I wish I had the content available to me again as a retelling would be a shadow of the post given in the hour of the encounter. Even the photo I took of the makeshift memorial for Victor I cannot find. I simply remember the father mourning his son and expressing / accusing from the deepest parts of his soul, “Policia”.

Of my earliest posts were in regard to the shooting of Victor Arango of Lake Worth 24 y/o Thursday, June 7 2012. These posts won’t make a lot of sense without the current event, well, current. Nevertheless…

Of my earliest homilies were in regard to Justice.

March 2013 Homily with a social justice vector on story of the Prodigal son:

First Homily, September 2011 of which I received many whippings for:

Ninth year ordained. Enter the tenth year in September.

Speak, Lord, your servant is listening. What is it you would have me do?

Tracking Stats:

  • 28 Followers – not many but high quality people.
  • 99 Posts either commenting on current events or blog version of a homily.
  • 139 PDF files with different homilies since March 2013.

All the best,

Deacon Gerry
